13 Wordpress Plugins you must HAVE

Ten minutes ago I do some updates to my plugins and I think is ok if I tell you what
plugins I use, to a good maintenance of your blog!
[1] Askimet – Askimet checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not. You need a WordPress.com API key to use it. You can review the spam it catches under “Comments”. Is a good plugin but i think the spammers use PROXY and you never escape from this kind of people.

[2] All in One SEO Pack - Optimizes your Wordpress blog for Search Engines: Automatically optimizes your titles for search engines, Generates META tags automatically, Avoids the typical duplicate content found on Wordpress blogs, You can override any title and set any META description and any META keywords you want. This is the plugin which I love!

[3] Audio Player - This is a very helpfull plugin if you want to share music on your blog. All you need to do is to create a folder called audio, upload your song in this folder and in your post to type. Here I recommend you to use a single word for your song because
if you don’t do this you need to type like this Artist_-_Name_Of_The_Song.mp3. Here is an example!

[4] Cforms II (contact form) – cforms is a highly customizable, flexible and powerful contact form plugin, covering a variety of use cases and features from attachments to multi form management, you can even have multiple forms on the same page! You have here an example!
[5] Dofollow - The dofollow plugin for WordPress lets you remove the evil nofollow attribute from your comments.
[6] Google XML Sitemaps - This plugin will create a Google sitemaps compliant XML-Sitemap of your WordPress blog. It supports all of the WordPress generated pages as well as custom ones. Everytime you edit or create a post, your sitemap will be updated and all major search engines which support the sitemap protocol like ASk.com, Google, MSN Search and YAHOO are notified about the update.
[7] obsocialbookmarker - Add social book mark icons and links at the bottom of each post: bookmarks options includes del.icio.us, reddit, slashdot it, digg, facebook, technorati, google, stumble, windows live, tailrank, bloglines, furl, netscape, yahoo, blinklist, feed me links, co.mments, bloglines, bookmark.it, ask, diggita, mister wong, backflip, spurl, netvouz, diigo, dropjack, segnalo, stumbleupon, simpy, newsvine, slashdot it,wink, linkagogo, rawsugar, fark, squidoo.

The plugin includes a full-featured subscription manager that your commenters can use to unsubscribe to certain posts, block all notifications, or even change their notification e-mail address!

[9] WordPress.com Stats - You cand use Google Analitycs, awstats, etc… but is more easy and rapidly to acces this statistics from your wordpress account. With this plugin you will see the
Referrers, Top posts of the day, Search Engine Terms, Clicks and Incoming links. In the picture is
an example with the top posts of yesterday.

[10] WordPress Database Backup – WP-DB-Backup allows you easily to backup your core WordPress database tables. You may also backup other tables in the same database.
[11] WP-Ban - It will display a custom ban message when the banned IP, IP range, host name or referer url trys to visit you blog. You can also exclude certain IPs from being banned. There will be statistics recordered on how many times they attemp to visit your blog. It allows wildcard matching too.

[12] WP-Polls - WP-Polls is extremely customizable via templates and css styles and there are tons of options for you to choose to ensure that WP-Polls runs the way you wanted. It now supports multiple selection of answers.

[13] WP-UserOnline - Detailed statistics of where they are and who there are(Members/Guests/Search Bots).

Thank you!
